Description

   JOIN #AL.ARENA.LOL ON QUAKENET TO ARRANGE YOUR MATCHES

The top 4 teams from each qualifier will be rewarded with Riot Points, and the top 2 will advance to the AAL.

The Absolute Amateur League (AAL) is a monthly tournament, where 8 of the  teams that make it past the qualifiers will compete alongside 8 teams from the previous AAL. The qualified teams will be split into 4 groups and the winners of each group will play against the 4th place finishers from the APL groups. The 4 victors will get a slot in the Absolute Pro League and play against Europe's best teams. As an addition, the winning teams will also receive  60.

Rules


 1. General & Game Settings

 

  • 1.1 Competition Method: 5 vs. 5

  • 1.2 Maps allowed: Summoner’s Rift (summer)

  • 1.3 PickMode: Tournament Draft

  • 1.4 Bans per team: 3

  • 1.5 Game Length: Until the winner is determined

  • 1.6 Game Winner: The team who completely destroys their opponent’s nexus or forces their opponent to surrender.

 

2. Match Times

 

  • 2.1 Playdays: Qualifier has to be played on the scheduled day (Wednesday).

  • 2.2 Match Format: AAL qualifier is BO1.

  • 2.3 Time: Qualifier must be finished on the scheduled day (Wednesday) or on another specified day if the adminsfeel there is need to delay

 

3. Match rules

 

  • 3.1 Pre-match (Info has to be sent to an admin atleast 24 hours before)

    • 3.1.1 Team 1 vs Team 2

    • 3.1.2 Match Date

    • 3.1.3 Match time

    • 3.1.4 Links to the streamers they have (in case we dont stream the match from our casters, we will promote their streams)

    • 3.1.5 Gamehoster

 

  • 3.2 After Match (Info has to be sent to an admin atleast 24 hours after)

    • 3.2.1 Final Game Screen

    • 3.2.2 1x replay per team

    • 3.2.3 If they recorded while streaming - link to the VOD

    • 3.2.4 feedback on admins/enemy team

    • 3.2.5 Ban/Pick screen

  • 3.3 Player Change: To change a player after the start of bans and picks is only allowed if both teams agree to.

  • 3.4 First Pick: The team with the higher seed gets the left side (First Pick) in APL, in AAL the higher team in the bracket gets First Pick

  • 3.5 Playoffs First Pick: The higher team in the bracket gets first pick,in case two teams with same seeding from groups meet,shorter win time decides.In Final and 3rd place decider shorter win time decides.

  • 3.6 Default Win Time: 20 Minutes after possible match start. Latest Start: max. 25 Minutes after possible match start.

 

4. Stoppage of Play

  • 4.1 Terms

    • 4.1.1 Unintentional Disconnection: One player losing connection to the game due to problems or issues with the game client, platform, network, or PC.

    • 4.1.2 Game Leaving/Intentional Disconnection: One player losing connection to the game due to player’s actions (i.e. quitting the game)..

    • 4.1.3 Server Crash: Multiple players losing connection to a game due to an issue with a server or platform.

  • 4.2 Stoppage of Play Procedure/Pause Rules:

    • 4.2.1 Technical Issues: A player, who is experiences technical issues, on any team may call for a game restart prior to first blood within the first 5 minutes of the game (i.e. before the timer shows 5:00). The player must be experiencing a hardware malfunction (e.g. monitor, peripheral, etc), a physical disruption (e.g. fan interference, table or chair breakage), or a configuration issues (e.g. runes, masteries, or summoner spells are not properply applied). The player must declare the issue in public chat or to a tournament administrator and then intentionally disconnect. Once the player disconnects, the game is considered null and void and should be restarted unless a tournament administrator determines that the conduct represents unfair play. If the game is being played on a Tournament Realm, then the Pause Rules apply (see below)

    • 4.2.2 Unintentional disconnect: If an unintentional disconnection occurs within 5 minutes from the start of the match & before first blood –OR– a player’s client crashes or fails to load after champion selection, then the match must be restarted. Otherwise if the unintentional disconnection occurs after those milestones, the game will continue as normal. The crashed player may reconnect into the game as soon as they are able. If the game is being played on a Tournament Realm, then the Pause Rules apply (see below).

    • 4.2.3 Intentionally disconnent: If a player intentionally disconnects without specifying a reason, then the game will continue as normal.

    • 4.2.4 Server Crash: If a server crash occurs, then the tournament director or head referee will decide either between (a) restarting the game or (b) awarding the game to one of the teams. As a guideline, a game victory will only be awarded in a situation where one team was on the verge of certain defeat (e.g. A nexus was about to be destroyed). If the game is being played on a Tournament Realm, then the Pause Rules apply (see below).

  • 4.3 Pause (Tournament Realm Only)

    • 4.3.1 Pause (/pause) may be invoked by either a tournament admin or a player based on the following conditions:

    • 4.3.2 Tournament admins can order the pause of a match for any reason. Tournament admins at a live tournament are allowed to execute a pause command on any player station.

    • 4.3.3 Players can pause the match if either of the following additional conditions are met:

    • 4.3.4 (1) After any player has disconnected from the game due to any form of network disconnect or computer crash. The “Player has disconnected” message must appear on screen.

    • 4.3.5 (2) After requesting and successfully receiving permission from a tournament admin to pause the game due to hardware malfunction (e.g. monitor, peripheral, etc) or a physical disruption of the player (e.g.fan interference, table or chair breakage)

    • 4.3.6 The game will not resume (/unpause) until clearance from an admin is issued and all players are notified and are ready at their stations.

    • 4.3.7 If an admin does not resume the game after 10 minutes or determine that technical difficulties will not allow for the game to resume as normal (including a team’s ability to be in proper position for certain game events such a minion spawn), then the head admin may make a decision to restart the game or award a game victory to a team, one team was on the verge of certain defeat.

    • 4.3.8 Penalties: If a player pauses or unpauses the game without permission, it will be consider unfair play. Penalties will be applied the tournament director.

    • 4.3.9 Teams who repeatedly abuse the pause function may be subject to game forfeitures or tournament suspensions.

5. Qualification

  • 5.1 Who goes on?: The first 2 of every group go on

  • 5.2 Tie break: In case of Tie break (3 teams in the group go 2-0-1) shorter time decide

  • 5.3 License: A team/franchise must retain at least three (3) of the original members throughout the entirety of Season

  • 5.4 Lineup changes: Teamlineup changes 3 throughout the seaons,except if not agreed upfront with admins

  • 5.5 Replacement: If a team is to be replaced it will be either based on the amateur league or if no results decided by admins

6. Streaming

  • 6.1 AAL: If there is maseTV/MMO-Champions/AL TV ,no one of the team is allowed to stream.

  • 6.3 there will be 3 notifications about it,

    • 1st - 10% prize money deduction

    • 2nd - removal from AAL

    • 3rd - Permanent ban from all leagues from AL
