Absolute Legends recently had a large change in staff. Replacing the previous Chief Editor with Dominic "HanzoKurosawa" Broadhead and replacing the previous Chief Operations Officer with Aaron "Dandy" Layfield. One of things we hope to achieve with this change in staff is to expand our E-sports coverage. With that goal in mind, it is clear that we need more writing staff. We currently cover League of Legends and Dota2, with a bit of Counter Strike: Global Offensive coverage. We wish to expand our Counter Strike coverage, and begin covering Starcraft 2. We are mostly looking for writers to cover Dota2, Counter Strike and Starcraft, but feel free to apply even if you can only write about League of Legends.

This is a good opportunity for anybody looking to get into the E-sports industry. You will get to work alongside our other writers and members of staff as well as get to chance to work with professional players. We are looking for news writers to cover any E-sports news that comes out, as well as people to write features (longer, more opinion based articles and tournament coverage) and conduct interviews.

What we're looking for:

News writers:

Good english skills.
Good current knowledge of the pro scene, and watch the majority of major tournaments.
You need to be able to dedicate time to your writing and not rush.
You need to be motivated and hardworking.
Examples of previous writing are recommended, but not necessary.

You need to be comfortable writing extended length articles, as well as conducting interviews.
Examples of previous writing are recommended, but not necessary.

The position itself will be unpaid and voluntary. Although we do host an 'Employee of the month' type scenario specially for writers. Which awards the most hard working writer with €100.
