Hello everyone! I am Nelson "KingNelson" Sng, and today I have an interview with Markus "Kottenx" Tingvall, Captain for  Team Alternate (formerly known as Eloblade). Being one of the up and coming new teams, it will be interesting to see what they can bring to the competetive scene in Season 3!

Thanks for being here with me today Kottenx, nice to meet you after hearing so many great things about you! Would you like to introduce yourself for all your fans out there?

Hello everyone! My name is Markus Tingvall and im the jungler for former Eloblade(now known as Alternate).  I've been playing this game for about 1 and a half year now and I used to play with aL, Teamless and Navi. I am 18 by the way!

How was the team lineup formed?

After I depatured from Korea after the OGN, I started looking for a team. It was also at that time when I started my duo queueing with my friend Forellenlord. After a while, we discussed about making a team and pursuing our dream of being the best team in League of Legends.  Then I asked my old teammate metalx along with his friend Kerp. Forellenlord then got his friend Leofromkorea to join as well, thus a team was formed.

What are your team's immediate goals?

Our goals is to be the best and to win everything. Also to qualify for the Season 3 series! Oh and getting cool elo because elo matters!

How hard does your team train? Do you guys scrim and theorycraft together?

We are training quite hard at the moment, and trying to scrim a big variety of teams to get knowledge about different playstyles since we are preparing for IPL5!

Are you guys prepared for NA & Asian teams? Do you think their playstyles are different?

We practised alot against  TSM which are one of the top teams in the NA scene, and we been doing pretty well :D.  I have personally gotten some experience with the asian teams from OGN, so we might apply some of their tactics. I think the Korean playstyles are extremly offensive and with aggression everywhere that makes for a fast pased game, which is fun to watch and play.

Do you think there is anything more for Riot to do, to improve the competetive scene?

I think Riot does an extremly good job in keeping the competitive scene running and im extremly excited for S3!

Now that Forellenlord has reached 3k elo, is the next step for Alternate to reach 3k eloin ranked 5s? Also, will any of you guys overtake Forellenlord's 3k elo?

Yeah for sure! We want to look fancy in all the brackets :D. Hope flord can carry us all! If some is to hit 3006 elo, then Kerp would be the chosen one!
