The final day of the MLG Spring Arena 2 has begun and we'll keep you updated throughout the evening with the results. If you sent your Top 8 predictions to  MLG Sundance for a chance to win lifetime MLG passes, then tough luck because we've had some surprising results in the first two days of the event. Arena favorites  DongRaeGu,  MMA and  Oz have been eliminated early in by the hands of  MC,  GoOdy and  Alicia, respectively.

Although out of the competition,  Grubby's excellent run needs to be mentioned. After being present at the MLG Spring Arena 1 as a caster, Grubby has shown us in this tournament that he can still give any player a good run for their money.  Oz,  GoOdy and  Ryung fell to the dutchman, who was only stopped in the LB Round 4 by  Inori.

Six players remain in competition for the final day:  Stephano,  viOLet,  Heart,  Symbol,  Polt and  MC. Reminiscent of IGN Pro League 4, which took place earlier this spring,  Millenium's Stephano is once again the flag bearer and only representative of the western scene in the late stages of the competition. The frenchman played consistently well throughout the weekend and will face  viOLet in the Upper Bracket Final.

Update: Congratulations to  Empire Violet for winning his first MLG and taking home the $10.000 reserved for the winner and earning the #1 seed for the MLG Spring Championship in Anaheim.  Violet had an amazing run, defeating  Alicia,  Grubby,  Leenock,  Polt,  Stephano and  Symbol in convincing fashion on his way to the title.
