Some of you may have known from a reddit thread posted roughly a month ago, that a Wikipedia for League of Legends was being worked on. We're now happy to announce that the wait is over, and the Leaguepedia is up and running! And even better; we've partnered up with them!

In our quest to become the number one place for League of Legends, we constantly strive to improve and get better content for our visitors. When we saw Andrew "Cloud9rc" Li had initiated this project, we knew we wanted to be a part of this, not only to help the amazing project that he had started, but also as a natural part of our quest to bring quality content for you; the community.

What will the Leaguepedia contain?
Everything your heart could desire to know about LoL! Teams, players, tournaments, items, minions, whatever you heart desires (regarding LoL that is) is going to be found on the Leaguepedia. Needless to say this is a huge project, and we've already had many people fill in tons of content, but it's not yet filled up. And thats where you come in! The Leaguepedia is, as AL, community driven. That means that YOU will be able to help everyone out, and contribute to the community, by writing articles about your favourite players, teams or whatever you want to. Basically, the more supportive you are of this project, the more awesome it will be for everyone. We need your help to make this the Leaguepedia we've all been dreaming of!

You will soon be able to go to the Leaguepedia via a button on the top of the page, until then you can find the website at leaguepedia.absolutelegends.net or just lp.absolutelegends.net.
In order to submit articles or changes, you must have a registered user on the site.

Statement from the founder of Leaguepedia Andrew "Cloud9rc" Li:

• I am very excited to partner up with Absolute Legends. After speaking with several members of AL, I have discovered that our goals are the same; to bring you all the highest quality content possible. I hope to see Leaguepedia and Absolute Legends  grow and help unify League of Legends players, casters, and fans across the globe; becoming the central hub for any and all League of Legends news and information.

We're very happy to be able to present this to you, and we are looking forward to seeing what our partnership with Leaguepedia will bring us in the future. We hope to see the community supporting the project, and our motto couldn't be more fitting; For the community, by the community.
