After the conclusion of MLG Raleigh, the top 8 teams in North America have been decided, and will face off against each other in a Best of 1, single elimination format, which will take no prisoners. Every team will have to be on the top of their game, to place top 3 in the regionals, qualifying for the Season 2 World Finals, and to be a part of the Season 3 Championships.
1st Seed:
Team SoloMid
Considered to be the most dominant force in North America,
TSM has been stampeding through every LAN event after their roster switch. They are a team who sticks with tried and tested strategies, even copying and mastering strategies from
Azubu Blaze and

CounterLogic Gaming
The former powerhouse of the North American scene has been in a slump recently, getting dominated by foreign teams in consecutive games, most recently losing straight games to
Invictus Gaming and
Azubu Frost . However, they will be back on their home turf for this tournament, and will be highly confident against the local teams which they consider inferior to the Asian teams. Will they be good enough to topple TSM's dominance in LAN? Only time will tell.

Team Dignitas
Dignitas seemed to be the only team who benefited from the huge "tri -swap" which happened months ago. With

Always the perennial 3rd/4th place in major offline tournaments, will Dignitas be able to go one step ahead and clinch the championship? Will they have any special strategies up their sleeves to catch every team off guard? Dignitas will definitely look to perform well in this tournament, especially after the fiasco which happened during MLG Raleigh.

Anything less will be considered a failure due to the amount of time and money invested into this team. Will the Curse gaming mansion be the catalyst to their success? All we know, is that Curse will not be going out without a fight.

TSM.Evo
TSM.Evo are a team with a rich competitive history, with their prime in 2010/2011. With their new lineup, will they be able to live up to their initial hype? After the most recent roster changes, TSM.Evo will have to spend more time practicing and getting more synergy with their new teammates. Fans will hope that
Salce be able to live up to his former reputation and carry the team on his shoulders. Being one of the pioneer AP carries who used Vladimir and Kennen, we can definitely look forward to see some interesting AoE teamcomps! TSM.Evo will definitely stand a chance to get a podium finish in this tournament with their experience, and calibre of players.
