The North American Qualifiers for the Season 2 World Championships will be held at PAX Prime, North Amercia's largest and most prestigious gaming exhibition. After the conclusion of MLG Raleigh, the top 8 teams in North America have been decided, and will face off against each other in a Best of 1, single elimination format, which will take no prisoners. Every team will have to be on the top of their game, to place top 3 in the regionals, qualifying for the Season 2 World Finals, and to be a part of the Season 3 Championships.

1st Seed: us flag Team SoloMid

Considered to be the most dominant force in North America, us flag TSM has been stampeding through every LAN event after their roster switch. They are a team who sticks with tried and tested strategies, even copying and mastering strategies from kr flag Azubu Blaze and ru flag Moscow 5 . TSM will look to overpower opponents with their solid game play and teamfighting. Will any team figure out how to beat them?

Lineup :

ca Shan 'Chaox' Huang – AD
ca Brian 'TheOddOne' Wyllie – Jungle
us Andy 'Reginald' Dinh – AP
us Alex 'Xpecial' Chu – Support
us Marcus 'Dyrus' Hill – Top

2nd Seed: us flag CounterLogic Gaming

The former powerhouse of the North American scene has been in a slump recently, getting dominated by foreign teams in consecutive games, most recently losing straight games to cn flag Invictus Gaming and kr flag Azubu Frost . However, they will be back on their home turf for this tournament, and will be highly confident against the local teams which they consider inferior to the Asian teams. Will they be good enough to topple TSM's dominance in LAN? Only time will tell.

Lineup:

ca Michael 'Bigfatlp' Tang – AP
ca George 'HotshotGG' Georgallidis – Jungle
us Steve ' Chauster' Chau – Support
us Peter 'Doublelift' Peng – AD
us Joe 'Voyboy' Esfahani – Top

3rd Seed: us flag Team Dignitas

us flag Dignitas seemed to be the only team who benefited from the huge "tri -swap" which happened months ago. With ca flag Crumbzz showing great adaptation skills at the top lane, he will be one of the most versatile top laners with his wide array of champion picks. Always the perennial 3rd/4th place in major offline tournaments, will Dignitas be able to go one step ahead and clinch the championship? Will they have any special strategies up their sleeves to catch every team off guard? Dignitas will definitely look to perform well in this tournament, especially after the fiasco which happened during MLG Raleigh.

Lineup:

us William 'scarra' Li – AP
us Michael 'imaqtpie' Santana – AD
us Christian ' I Will Dominate' Rivera – Jungle
ca Alberto 'crumbzz' Rengifo – Top

Backed by one of the biggest gaming organizations in the world, us flag Curse Gaming boasts three top players with major competetive honours under their belt. In such a huge tournament, it can be safe to say that they will be one of the favourites to get a top 4 placing in the regionals. Anything less will be considered a failure due to the amount of time and money invested into this team. Will the Curse gaming mansion be the catalyst to their success? All we know, is that Curse will not be going out without a fight.

5th Seed: us flag TSM.Evo

us flag TSM.Evo are a team with a rich competitive history, with their prime in 2010/2011. With their new lineup, will they be able to live up to their initial hype?  After the most recent roster changes, TSM.Evo will have to spend more time practicing and getting more synergy with their new teammates. Fans will hope that us flag Salce be able to live up to his former reputation and carry the team on his shoulders. Being one of the pioneer AP carries who used Vladimir and Kennen, we can definitely look forward to see some interesting AoE teamcomps! TSM.Evo will definitely stand a chance to get a podium finish in this tournament with their experience, and calibre of players.

Lineup:

us Trevor 'Salce' Salce – AP
us Nhat 'Nhat Nguyen' Nguyen – Support
us Johnny 'Unstoppable' Tran – Jungle

6th Seed: ca flag Team Dynamic

ca flag Team Dynamic is a young up-and-coming team which has the history and pedigree of beating big name teams such as us flag Dignitas and most memorably, ru flag Moscow Five. They will come to PAX Prime with their original jungler us flag NitendudeX, who will bring his unorthodox super aggressive junglers to the competetive fray. Team Dynamic has always performed decently in tournaments, but never getting into the top 3. PAX Prime will be a good opportunity for them to break their curse, and secure their future in competetive gaming.

us flag Team Legion has been shocking teams all over the country with their stellar performances in MLG Raleigh and IPL Faceoff! Known for their cheese strategies, this will be one of the trickiest teams to play against in the Best-of-1 format. With ca flag Chaox recently praising us flag Demumlul as one of the top 5 AD carries in America, this team seems to be filled with promise! Will Legion be able to pull out more tricks and upset us flag CounterLogic Gaming in the first round?

Lineup:

us Neil 'PR0LLY' Hammad – AP
us Alex 'iNoobish' Mata – Support
us Tyler 'Lautemortis' Nicholls – Jungle
us Cruz 'CruzertherBruzer' Ogden – Top
us Jon 'Demunlul ' McCulloch – AD
