One of the most important League of Legends tournaments of this year is kicking off on Tuesday at Gamescom: Season 2 Regionals Europe. The 8 best European teams from the season will fight for 3 spots at the Season 2 Championship and a lot of money.  In fact, the prizepool will be $150,000 for this particular tournament. At the Season 2 Championship the teams will compete for $2,000,000.

The 8 teams which have qualified for the tournament at Gamescom will be seeded in a Single-Elimination bracket with Best-of-3 matches. The first round of this bracket will be:

Update: pl flag Eryk "HosaN" Wilczynski from pl flag EloHell.net was permanently banned by the Tribunal, which lead Riot to check this case. They confirmed the ban and Eryk "HosaN" Wilczynski received a one-tournament suspension which will be served during the European Regional Final at Gamescom.
