Dimitris "PanicButton" Memmas was one of the first staff members of AbsoluteLegends when it was founded over one year ago. Before joining AbsoluteLegends, he already had a lot of experience in eSports. He worked with MeetYourMakers, FnaticRC and other big organizations. Also within AbsoluteLegends he had several different positions. From newswriter to Project Manager, which is his current position.
Sadly we have to announce that he will leave us, because he is joining the greek army. We are really sad about this, but we can't change, because it is obligate for greek citizens to serve in the army. We from AbsoluteLegends want to thank him for his insane effort he put into this project and wish him best of luck in the future. Our doors will always be open for him to rejoin us after his time in the army ends.
Statement of
Dimitris "PanicButton" Memmas
It’s really sad that I’m leaving for the army at Tuesday (10/07/2012) and I’ll be gone for 9 months. I want to say a really big thanks to the League of Legends community and general to eSports for all the great moments I had as player and as employer. Also a big "Thank you" to all the great people I met and worked with in eSports at AbsoluteLegends and in the League of Legends community. League of Legends and eSports are growing amazingly fast every day and I hope when I’m back that this will become even better than it is right now!
