The second Dreamhack event of the year will take place during DreamHack Summer 2012 in Jonkoping, Sweden. After the first edition in Stockholm, the organizers chose to hold their next stage from June 16th to 18th with 128 players who will compete for the cash prize and a two-seater for DreamHack Winter.

The tournament format will have three group stages where each groups is composed by four players, from where the two best players will advance to the rest of the competition. The playoff stage will start at the round of sixteen with a best-of-three format until the Grand Final which will be played in a best-of-five format.

Our Swedish player MaddeLisk will compete and we'll keep you updated with her journey on our site.

Hello MaddeLisk, how do you feel before the DreamHack Summer?
I feel great. I am improving and I am really motivated.

How did you train for this event?
I practiced just as I usually do, but I put some extra focus on the maps in the map pool in cgs.

What is your goal for this Dreamhack?
My goal is to play good games of course. And to get as far as I deserve.

Is there any player you want to face the most?
There are so many! Some really good zerg or terran would be cool.

Who do you want to see in Top3?
I would like to see some swedish players make it into top 3.
