Kevin 'iliu' Vandini took the time to interview
Andrei 'AL DeathAngel' Nodea about his time in Korea and the upcoming Code A qualifiers for the next season of Global Starcraft II League.
Hello DeathAngel, how is it going in Korea lately?
DA: Hello, I just moved to the Gom house from April, and I continued my practice for the next Code A qualifier.
We are now only two weeks before the GSL Code A Qualifiers, how do you feel?
DA: This time I feel unprepared since this move to the Gom house was not very beneficial for me, the computer is not so good, I'm lagging in most of the big fights, no more Korean practice partners; most of them need to practice with their current teams (I still practice with 2 of them from time to time), so yeah.. I will try to do my best but I'm feeling a lot worse than last time :)
Do you think you can repeat your great performance from the last Qualifiers?
DA: I don't think so, as I said, my preparation is now a lot worse, I think practice partners with whom you can practice the 3 Code A qualifier maps every day helps extremely much, and not having this by your side is a huge disadvantage considering you are one of the few in this situation.

From your point of view, has anything changed since the last qualifier?
DA: Yes, the skill level of everyone increased, so now it's even harder to qualify, also one of the maps used now is Entombed Valley which is a very bad map for Zerg in my opinion. I can't believe this map was actually chosen for those qualifiers T_T.
Is there any player you want to avoid for these qualifiers?
DA: I don't know very well many players, but usually there is nobody that makes me think that I can't win against him, so I don't feel I want to avoid someone in particular :) .
Is there anyone you want to play against in these qualifiers?
DA: Not really, I will just try to qualify if possible and show foreigners some hope in the GSL :)
Let me wish you good luck, any last words you want to share?
DA: Thank you very much, and I want to thank Absolute Legends and our sponsors for giving me the opportunity to be here, I also love everyone that is showing support for me, I hope I can do well :)
