The first stage of the DreamHack 2012 circuit will be held on April 21st and 22nd in Stockholm, Sweden. This year, the DreamHack organizers want to do it in style with the establishment of a huge stage, a BarCraft and the capacity to accommodate over 2000 people. 

For this new edition, 17,000€ will be spread among the players finishing in top four and the brackets will include no fewer than 128 players who will try to pass three phases of pool play to enter the final single elimination tree. We are proud to announce that four of our Starcraft 2 players, Satiini, Naama, MaddeLisk and BabyKnight will travel to Stockholm and attempt to win the title.

Our manager, Kevin 'illu' Vandini went to capture the reaction of our players through his blog :

MaddeLisk : "I am really looking forward to attend DH open. There will be a lot of great players, and I expect the group stages to be really hard. But I'm practising hard and I will do my best :) I hope it will be a lot of fun!"

BabyKnight : "I'm looking forward to the event, I feel like I can go really far, especially if I get a lucky bracket. I just hope I'll feel better soon, I've been sick for the past week, and it has hurt my practice.

Satiini : "I feel good, im really expecting it to be a really awesome event, the place looks awesome, sweden is cool and stockholm is cooler! :D"

Naama : "Im looking forward to dreamhack stockholm because its going to be the first lan event for me after korea , so obviously my hopes are high. Wish me luck, see you there."
